We finally convinced Babies R Us to release our furniture from captivity. Behind the cut you'll find pictures of the nursery in progress. Yes, we are horrible people. We put crib bumpers on the crib. Believe it or not, our hospital recommends them. And the baby won't be in a crib for the first few months anyway. We're very close to having everything we need before the baby's born (I think). I need to make an actual list soon.

Looks beautiful...I feel bad, we don't have nearly that much room for the peanut, so s/he gets to share a room with the extra desk etc...

It does look lovely, and it must be such fun getting it all set up. We don't have much space either, so I don't really have a concept of the nursery in our little house - the cot will go beside our bed, Baby's clothes will go with ours in the wardrobe, and so on. I hope by the time s/he's bigger we'll have figured out a bit more space!

Don't worry about the bumpers. I know a lot of people who use them, and a lot who do not. That is our current contemplation. We may take them out when she is able to roll herself over and such, and then put them back in when she is a bit older. But like you said, she is going to be sleeping with us for the first 3-6months anyways.... so whats the big deal?? :)
